Join us for our Cub Scout Pack Parent Orientation as we prepare for an exciting year of fun, adventure, and family involvement!
Miss Sarah will be leading this session and helping parents understand how Cub Scouting works and how your family can get the most out of the program.
During this orientation, we will cover:
-How to use the BAND app for pack communication and updates
-Pack calendar, events, and important dates
-Overview of the Cub Scout program (K–5th grade structure by dens)
-Rank advancement and how your Scout progresses each year
-Family involvement and parent participation expectations
-Fundraising opportunities that support pack activities
-Pack dues, fees, and what they cover
-Uniform basics and what your Scout will need
-Pack events like Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, and campouts
-How meetings work (den meetings vs. pack meetings)
-Volunteer roles and how parents can step in to help
-Communication channels and who to contact for support
Cub Scouting is a family-centered program, and your involvement plays a key role in your child’s experience. This meeting will make sure you feel confident, informed, and ready to jump in.
We highly encourage all parents—especially new families—to attend.
